August 21, 2016, 7:30 p.m. Weiner: the Musical! Staged reading of a new musical by composer, Beth Karp, exploring the comedy of a unique (hopefully!) moment in American Jewish history. More details available shortly.

“Weiner: the Musical” recounts the rise and fall of former congressman Anthony Weiner’s… fortunes. In this telling, a young Weiner makes a Faustian bargain with Satan: he will consign his firstborn son to Satan’s hands in return for money, sex, and power. But when Satan comes to collect, Weiner tries to renege and a maelstrom of sexual perversity, political chicanery, family drama, and media madness ensues.
